Harihara

Tripurantaka
Lord Narayana giving weapons to Lord Shiva for tripurasamhara. This story is mentioned in the saptama skandha of Srimad Bhagavatam immediately after Narasimha avataram.Every pauranic story has either a vaishnava orientation/version or a shaiva orientation/ version. The pertinent verse reference is SB. 7.10. 65- 66. This story is the Vaishnava version of tripuradahana. There is no point in denying the pauranic versions that one is unaware of.
