His first lessons came from a Muslim, Kadar Mansuri, a special educator in Visnagar, Mehsana. Currently, Joshi gives religious discourses on

1. Ramayana, 
2. Devi Bhagwat, 
3. Shiv Puran, 
4. Vishnu Puran and has completed over 300 kathas. 

He is self-reliant and supports his parents as well.
